Birchfield School is proud of its relationship with RAF Cosford. As we are almost neighbours (the base is only a few minutes away from Birchfield) our links have gone from strength to strength in recent years. Having had many service children attend Birchfield over the years we are used to dealing with the unique family life which a career in the services can sometimes present. We are here, not only to educate and enrich your child, but provide the emotional and pastoral support needed when life is starting afresh in a new area, or when overseas postings mean a family may be temporarily separated.
Entry
The journey can begin in Birchfield Prepcare Nursery (managed by Prepcare LLP), which is located on the Birchfield site, and takes children aged from 6 weeks to 4 years old. Birchfield itself welcomes children from age 4 and offers small class sizes, beautiful rural surroundings, strong academic ethos, acclaimed sporting successes and a fine musical reputation.
Senior Schools and Birchfield Senior School
We offer bespoke advice on senior schools at 11+ or 13+, working with you and your child to decide which school is best for your family and we are now able to offer the exciting option of staying on at Birchfield for the GCSE years to age 16 .
Fee Remission

This means Birchfield’s excellent and enviable standard of education is now available to more RAF Cosford parents.
