Explorative, challenging and enjoyable learning is paramount to pupils’ experience in Year 2. Enjoyment and passion for learning comes about through carefully thought out activities which encourage pupils to be independent and responsible for their own learning.
Pupils experience working together to solve many obstacles to their current thinking, and review learning experiences with our extremely passionate staff as facilitators and encouragers.
In Year 2, pupils take part in more specialised lessons including Science, opportunities for Food Technology and extra sessions Games. Mornings are protected for academic subjects and pupils experience a healthy balance of sociable outdoor play within Birchfield’s wonderful grounds.
