ISI Inspection Report

Our recent ISA Report concluded that:

Leaders set clear and high expectations of pupils’ behaviour.
Leaders identify pupils with high prior attainment in each subject and support them with challenging tasks tailored to encourage independent thinking.
Pupils across the school behave well and work effectively with each other, showing respect and understanding.
Teachers have an in-depth understanding of the pupils in their classes and support their needs well.
Teachers have secure subject knowledge, prepare lessons well, and use effective teaching methods. As a result, pupils are supported in their learning and make good progress.
Pupils make good progress in their verbal and written communication.
Leaders and managers actively promote pupils’ wellbeing.
Leaders oversee the curriculum to ensure that it supports the school’s ethos, in which inclusivity and diversity are key features.
Leaders have carefully considered the safeguarding implications of extending the pupils’ age range to 16
