Hockey at Birchfield is a main sport, being played by our girls and also regularly with mixed boys and girls teams. We have a large astro-turf hockey facility which provides the perfect surface for training and matches.

Our girls compete in hockey matches weekly in the season and have many notable successes to be proud of, including excellent results at regional and national tournaments.

Birchfield has achieved further recognition with a number of our pupils representing the local Telford and Wrekin Hockey Club and being selected for Shropshire Hockey at County level.
