SECURE YOUR CHILD'S PLACE IN RECEPTION, YEAR 1 OR YEAR 2

Birchfield accepts advance registrations for places in Reception and throughout the School. We are currently accepting applications up to September 2024.

For all years, including Reception, it is usual to visit the School and appropriate year group learning environment in the first instance. This allows prospective parents to chat to teachers and staff to ensure you are happy with your choice and feel committed to joining. We welcome visitors throughout the year and would be glad to show you round. Should the class for your chosen year group be full, we will add you to our waiting list and keep you regularly informed.

The advance registration fee for Birchfield Reception class is £100 and should be submitted with your registration form (available from the School Office). We regret that this fee is non-refundable.

Birchfield reserves the right to raise a Commitment Fee of £500 in advance of the arrival of a pupil in the School.  If raised, the fee will be forfeited in the event that the pupil is withdrawn prior to their first day at School.  This sum will be offset against the final term’s invoice at the end of the pupil’s last year at School.  If the Parents/ Parent or Guardian cancel their acceptance of a place less than a term before the entry date or the Pupil does not join the School after a place has been accepted and not cancelled, a term’s fees will be payable and the commitment fee will be credited to the account.
